What we sell to the end customers in B2C channel are the step drills made of high-grade M2 High-Speed Steel and can cut holes on Stainless steel, Hardened Metal, Mild steel, Galvanized steel, Aluminum, Copper, Plastic, Wood, or anything that has similar or lower hardness as these materials. Up to 12ga /2.7mm thickness for Stainless steel. When experts want to use step drills, we hope our brands can be the first choice they think of.
M2 High speed steel
M2 HSS has 50% more Tungsten and 150% more Molybdenum (key elements in improving durability). The Vacuum heat treatment and Nitride hardening treatment provide extra durability as well.
UNIQUE Spiral grooved design
Spiral flutes guide the debris out faster by its nature, making the drilling much smoother and creating fewer burrs for the holes.
Optimized Split point Tip
Self-starting and non-walking. Unlike the common 135 degrees, our angle is specially optimized to be a little sharper which helps grab the material immediately. However, if without our overall good construction, a sharper angle would lead to a short life.

Tips & Warnings
1. Use on a metal plate of no more than 2.5mm thickness.
2. Use water to cool down the bit after in operation for a while can improve its life.
3. Drilling at low speed (300RPM recommended) when drilling metal.
4. Cutting fluid will help the stepper bits last longer.
5. Point the Step bit straight down to make fast cutting.
6. Need to wear goggles and work gloves.
